PhD (Arts) by Research
The PhD Arts programme offers interdisciplinary courses in History, Philosophy, Law, Economics, Gender Studies, Political Science, Sociology, Media Studies and Environmental Studies, with a focus on major aspects of the Asian and other humanistic and social traditions. In any of these fields, students will examine the development of a wide variety of ideology and forms of expression that exert a major influence on the modern world. Through research, students will be able to interpret the study materials and conduct independent critical assessment of those materials and various new ideas in writing a thesis.
